360 video: The empathy machine

This post is intended as an overview of  a speaker session at our charity event The modern charity: Using video to connect with current and potential supporters, which took place on 14 July 2016.

David Betteridge, Freelance 360 Video Director, gave a fascinating quick introduction to charities that are using 360 video as a powerful tool for building empathy with audiences. He believes it works so well in this context because of what he calls the ‘twins of success’: good storytelling and immersion.
