Grow your giving: How cutting-edge creative is driving fundraising in 2020.

Ryan Wilkins, CEO of Raw London, hosts our Relay event in September 2019

Our next Relay event will take place on Thursday 12 March 2020. This time around, it’s all about charities thinking fresh and leaning into cutting-edge creative to drive fundraising. We’ll focus on the key forms of charitable giving, including legacy and DRTV. Register to attend now.

On the agenda

A predicted rise in legacy giving and an increasingly competitive DRTV space means pioneering charities are changing up their creative approach. This has already led to some of the most innovative fundraising campaigns ever in 2019, with charities thinking outside the box in an attempt to stand-out from the crowd and capture audience attention.

So which creative approaches work best for prompting giving? Does emotive storytelling drive results, or do audiences’ prefer straight to the point information? Are there distinct differences between TV and digital when it comes to effective creative? And how are charities planning this content across their customer journey?

At this event, we’re asking experts from UK charities to share their creative journeys. We’ll watch their most recent campaigns, discover their most effective creative and how they compare and measure results.

This is a great opportunity to get inspired by your peers, and especially valuable for heads of fundraising, legacy, and in memory giving at medium to large charities.

Where and when

We’ll kick off the programme at 4.30pm sharp on Thursday 12 March 2020 at Curzon Soho, 99 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W1D 5DY. The programme will run until 6pm, with a few drinks in the bar after.

Please note this is a popular event, so spaces are reserved for those working within the charity sector only, and we offer up to 3 spaces per organisation. If you’d really like to bring more of your team, please email marketing@raw.london and we’ll try to squeeze you in.

Psst! Pass it on

So you’ve just completed your best ever campaign, congratulations! Now what? Relay offers you the mic to pass on your experience and insight to your allies in the sector. Speakers have 15 minutes to give us the low-down before you hand over to the next speaker, and then you get to meet some incredibly talented people in the bar after. So far we’ve hosted more than 40 speakers and 500 guests – and every single one of them would recommend it. What are you waiting for? Get involved by registering to attend now or email charlotte@raw.london if you’d like to join the line up.
