The role – summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Head of Business Development to join our team. It’s the perfect role for someone ready to work with purposeful, humanitarian and sustainable brands.

In a nutshell, who are we looking for?

We believe true collaboration lies at the heart of all of our best work, so we’re looking for someone who is curious, enjoys listening and can instinctively match client business challenges with our sector-leading insights and award-winning products.

  • Has experience in creating new business strategies and maintaining a robust pipeline
  • Is experienced in building and developing C-suite relationships, is well connected, and understands the marketing and advertising landscape
  • Is comfortable representing the agency at events and networking sessions
  • Has senior-level experience in pitching up to six figure solutions to clients
  • Relishes teamwork and collaboration but is a confident self-starter with strong work ethic
  • Appreciates and practises a strategic, insight-led approach to new business

The role will work in close collaboration with our Marketing Director, Account Director and CEO and offers a fantastic opportunity for autonomy and self-direction. It’s an exciting time to join our team as we continue to deliver on our growth strategy into 2022 and beyond.


  • Creating and delivering our new business strategy
  • Managing a mix of inbound and outbound marketing
  • Researching new opportunities across our target sectors
  • Strategising, planning, executing and reporting on new business campaigns
  • Regularly meeting with prospects to understand their goals, challenges and aspirations
  • Managing new business meetings and pitches
  • Suggesting and contributing to new insight pieces and reports
  • Helping develop our product and service offerings in response to client needs

Experience / requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar or comparable role
  • Proven track record in establishing and growing new business, ideally in a agency environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially-minded self-starter
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems (Hubspot a bonus) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Location: Currently hybrid home/office working. Close proximity to London required
Contract: Full time (part-time considered)
Commences: January 2022
