Raw London won Bronze for Most Innovative Development at the European Association Awards 2019.
The winning project is a unique Virtual Reality Experience produced on behalf of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), a professional membership body for GPs in the UK. The project is part of their #DiscoverGP campaign, which aims to aid in the recruitment of young medical students into general practice.
The series of 5 videos demonstrate the variety of experiences a GP can have in their day-to-day working lives. Using VR, they each offer a unique first person perspective that captures the excitement of being a GP and highlights the unique patient relationships.
As well as being shared on social media, the films were designed for newly-qualified doctors at specialist conventions and recruitment events. Using specially branded VR goggles, RCGP found hundreds of people queued to watch the films and received amazing feedback.
