Raw London shortlisted for 6 CSR awards at EVCOM Clarion 2019

Raw London shortlisted for 6 CSR awards EVCOM Clarion 2019

Raw London have been shortlisted in 6 categories at the EVCOM Clarion Awards 2019, which focus on the importance of CSR across both the agency and client landscape. The shortlisted entries span 6 different projects including; IDMC, Dignity in Dying, Combat Stress, Book Aid International, Concern Worldwide UK and Anthony Nolan.

Recognising excellence in CSR communication

This year, The Clarion Awards have a renewed focus on the importance of corporate social responsibility across both the agency and client landscape, recognising excellence across a range of well-defined activations and interventions. We are really proud that a majority of our campaigns over the past year have been in the non-profit and CSR space and are pleased to be recognised for such a large variety of work. More information about each shortlisted project below.

IDMC shortlisted in the ‘Environment’ category

This category celebrates films that successfully and dynamically raise awareness of the current environmental issues affecting our planet. Our shortlisted film, Internal Displacement: The Untold Story, was produced for IDMC to highlight the numbers that prove internal displacement is a crisis of enormous proportion – and yet the world remains largely unaware.

Dignity in Dying up for ‘Health and Wellbeing’

This category recognises films that raise awareness of medical issues, mental and physical, to promote health and general wellbeing. The shortlisted film, Christie’s Story, was created for Dignity in Dying, a national campaign and membership organisation campaigning for change in assisted dying laws across the UK.

Combat Stress recognised for ‘Social Welfare’

The Social Welfare category highlights films that encourage social awareness, raising social issues to vital prominence. Our shortlisted film was produced for Combat Stress as part of their Liberating Lives campaign. It aims to raise awareness of military mental health and the impact that treatment and support from Combat Stress has had on the lives of the veterans.

Book Aid International shortlisted for ‘Brand Communication’

Brand Communication category looks for entries that promote the brand identity of a charity or commercial company with strong CSR credentials. Our film, The magic of reading ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ was produced for Book Aid International last year as a celebration of their brand identify and purpose; to ensure that no child lives in a world without books.

Concern Worldwide UK shortlisted in the ‘Innovation’ category

This exciting category recognises films that seek to engage audiences with social issues in a unique and original way. The Ration Challenge, which we produced for Concern Worldwide UK earlier this year, aims to do exactly that. Using a social experiment format, it gives members of the British public a glimpse of what Syrian refugees living in Jordan have to live on.

Anthony Nolan recognised in the ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ category

Anthony Nolan’s high profile TV campaign, Be a lifesaver, has been shortlisted in the ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ category. The campaign aims to diversify the stem cell register in order to save the lives of young black and minority ethnic men with blood cancer.
