That’s right, we won an amazing 3 awards at the EVCOM Screen Awards 2016! Read more below about our success in the Laurus Award, Best Animation and – incredibly – the Platinum Winner of Winners Award.
Open to winners of all awards and judged by corporate clients, this is the pinnacle of the corporate screen sector.
We won with our emotive film, ‘What is VJ Day?’, produced with The Royal British Legion.
‘What is VJ Day?’ was also awarded the Laurus Award, for the most outstanding film achieved with a budget of under £15,000. Judges looked for projects that seized digital and social media opportunities, in order to reach new heights of creativity and impact with modest budgets.
We were Highly Commended for ‘Linda’s Story’, part of a series of case studies for The Royal British Legion’s iconic Poppy Appeal campaign. Commended for it’s creative and effective design and use of animation, this film demonstrates clear creative thinking to achieve the client’s goals – combining new and traditional methods to a tell story and reach new audiences.
Congratulations to all the winners, and big thanks to EVCOM for a great night. We’d also especially like to thank our colleagues at The Royal British Legion.
