Raw London wins 2 awards at EVCOM Clarion Awards 2021

We’re delighted to have won 2 awards at the EVCOM Clarion Awards 2021! Our DRTV appeal for British Red Cross won Bronze for Social Welfare, while our work for The Climate Group achieved Silver in the Environment category.

The EVCOM Clarion Awards celebrate true excellence across cause-driven corporate film, live events and experiences. This year, there was a particular emphasis on innovation and new ways of working, as the pandemic has impacted communications across every industry.

Climate Week NYC 2020 for The Climate Group

This is the third year we have been recognised in the Environment category, which recognises work that raises awareness of the current environmental issues affecting our planet.

In 2020, with international travel and in-person events banned, Climate Week NYC needed to pivot to an online event – fast.

Using innovative technology, we designed and built a digital-first format that could connect leaders from across the globe. This included a bespoke virtual production hub which hosted and recorded hundreds of contributor sessions in more than 50 countries. More about Climate Week NYC here.

Emergency COVID-19 Appeal for British Red Cross

Our COVID-19 DRTV appeal for British Red Cross won Bronze in the Social Welfare category. The film tells the real-life story of a personal emergency – and shows first-hand how supporters can help. It follows our earlier COVID-19 emergency appeal for British Red Cross, which raised vital funds and awareness to support those hit hardest at the beginning of the pandemic. More about British Red Cross here.

About EVCOM Clarion Awards 2021

In 2020, we saw the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, we felt the continued force of the climate crisis, we watched our NHS rise to the challenges of COVID-19 and communities struggle under its impact. Never before has it been so important to recognise creative work that puts these issues centre stage.

This year, we have seen the live and film sectors pooling their expertise to create broadcasts, virtual events and more. So, categories are combined for the first time to recognise and celebrate new and innovative ways of working.

Winners were announced on 8th June at a sustainable virtual ceremony.
