Climate conversations should be accessible to all. Since 2018, we have been the only official creative partner of Climate Week NYC, working to connect governments, brands and businesses to accelerate climate action.
This is a uniquely global conference, hosting more than 140 affiliate events. From panel discussions, to concerts, exhibitions and seminars, organisations and individuals can play a pivotal role in advancing the debate, driving awareness, and keeping climate action at the top of the global agenda.
Each year, we capture the event and, through a bank of social content, live streams, interviews and promo films, help to promote and spread the message. We’ve been lucky enough to interview key government and business leaders, such as Pia Heidenmark Cook, CSO at IKEA Group, Stephen Badger, Chairman of Mars and Rudolph Wynter, President of National Grid, as well as Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern and President Martín Vizcarra of Peru. We even captured the moment the Empire State Building turned green for Climate Week 2018!
As well as supporting the event, we also take part, sharing insights about CSR and sustainability communications at the Opening Ceremony and The Hub each year. Ryan Wilkins, Founder & CEO at Raw London, addressed senior leaders to discuss how communication is a vital tool in encouraging people to change behaviours and attitudes towards climate change, and later took part in a panel discussion at the Communicating Climate Change event in 2019.
The international summit takes place every September in coordination with the United Nations and the City of New York during the UN General Assembly. This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve partnered with The Climate Group to turn it into a uniquely virtual global event. Watch this space!
