We partnered with RCGP to make work experience more accessible to aspiring medics. In the first 2 months alone, 8,000 young people registered to the interactive video platform – 300% above target.

Currently, young people living in remote areas or without connections to people working in healthcare can struggle to gain work experience – despite it being a prerequisite to the application and interview process. This free online platform levels the playing field and, ultimately, contributes to a more diverse future of healthcare.

  • We are overjoyed with the response to Observe GP, and so pleased we have been able to provide this resource, especially at this unprecedented time. Raw London helped us look beyond the basic formats and we have created something which provides information and delivery that in-person work experience can’t always do.

The goal was to make work experience available to anyone, anywhere. So, we created a unique virtual experience using bespoke video and a purpose-built online platform. Meet Observe GP.

The platform has become a lifeline during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has made in-person work experience difficult, or in many cases, impossible. In fact, the Medical School Council recommends Observe GP as a crucial tool, and features it prominently across their support webinars and communications.

We’re proud to join RCGP in dedicating this platform to all those working in general practice and the wider NHS family, who risk their lives to keep us safe during this crisis.
