This policy informs you how we look after your personal data when you visit our website, and explains your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the ICO, so please contact us in the first instance.

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) required: RAWaudio LTD. does not conduct large-scale systematic monitoring of individuals, nor does it process Special Categories of personal data at scale. We have therefore determined that the appointment of a DPO is not required under Article 37 UK GDPR.

We collect, use, and store personal data which you provide directly to us via our 'Sign-up' pop-up form, which links to this policy at the point of collection:

  • Contact Data: Email address.

We do not collect any "Special Categories" of personal data (e.g., health, ethnicity, or political opinions).

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use your data only when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data for the following purposes:

  • Marketing Communications: To send you agency news and invitations to our events.

  • Personalisation: We may use your Role, Company, or Sector to tailor the content we send to your professional interests. This does not involve solely automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Lawful Basis:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR): By clicking 'Sign-up' on our pop-up, you provide affirmative consent for us to process your data for direct marketing purposes.

  • Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): For B2B communications directed to corporate email addresses, we may rely on legitimate interests to keep contacts updated on relevant industry developments, where this does not override your rights and freedoms. A Legitimate Interests Assessment (LIA) has been conducted and is available on request.

  • Security: High Level employs industry-standard encryption to keep your data safe.

  • International Transfers: As High Level is a global platform, your data may be stored on servers outside the UK (e.g., in the US). We ensure that a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is in place and that transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework.

  • All processors are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and in accordance with UK GDPR. We require them to maintain appropriate security measures.

6. Your Right to Opt-Out

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by:

  • Clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.

  • Contacting us directly at the address provided above.

Right to object to direct marketing (Article 21(3) UK GDPR): You have an absolute right to object to us processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. We will stop processing your data for this purpose as soon as we receive your objection, with no need to justify your request.

7. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Specifically:

  • Active contacts: we retain your data for as long as you remain subscribed and engaged with our communications, and for a further 24 months of inactivity, after which we will delete or anonymise your record.

  • Unsubscribed contacts: if you unsubscribe, we will retain your email address on a suppression list for 3 years to ensure we do not contact you again in error. After this period, the suppression record will be deleted.

These periods may be extended where required by law or to defend a legal claim.

8. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

We do not make any decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects (as defined in Article 22 UK GDPR). Where we use your Role, Company, or Sector to personalise the content of our communications, this involves human oversight and does not constitute solely automated decision-making.

9. Your Legal Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, contact us at hello@raw.london:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.

  • Right to restrict processing: Request that we limit how we use your data.

  • Right to data portability: Request transfer of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests. Your right to object to direct marketing is absolute (see Section 6).

  • Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

We will respond to all requests within one calendar month. There is no fee for exercising your rights unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help our website work efficiently and to provide us with information about how you use our site. We also use "pixels" (small graphic images), specifically via our marketing platform High Level, to track the effectiveness of our campaigns.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies for three purposes:

  1. Strictly Necessary: To make the site function (e.g., security and form loading). 

  2. Performance & Analytics: To understand how many people visit us and which sectors they are interested in. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, we use these to collect aggregate statistics to improve our service. We automatically collect certain technical data including IP address, browser type, device information and usage data when you visit our website.

  3. Marketing & Tracking: To track when a user from our mailing list interacts with the site, helping us send more relevant agency news and event invites. These cookies are subject to your consent.
