We have once again partnered with the Climate Group to take Climate Week NYC online. The event builds on the overwhelming success of the first-ever virtual event in 2020, which connected and reached more people than ever despite the global pandemic.
As the widely respected IPCC report on climate change launched in August, it was clear that this year’s event would take centre stage ahead of COP26 in October.
So, throughout September, our virtual production hub and TV studio will host and record hundreds of interviews and debates with some of the most significant figures from business and government.
These include famous names such as Bill Gates, John Kerry, Alok Sharma MP and Al Gore. Key sustainability leaders also featured include Jim Andrew, CSO at PepsiCo, Christophe Babule, CFO at L’Oréal, and Alexandra Liftman, Global Environmental Executive at Bank of America. You can see the full events calendar on the Climate Week NYC website.
We started planning the event earlier this year, and produced a bank of content to promote the event worldwide. Our delivery team have since worked on delivering sixteen 1-hour programmes for launch during Climate Week NYC.
To make the event as accessible as possible, the programmes will launch on Facebook Live throughout 20 – 26 September. You can join in here!
Taking place from 20 – 26th September, the conference returns with a focus on fulfilling and increasing commitments made by businesses, governments, and organizations. It is the time and place where the world gathers to showcase leading climate action and discuss how to do more, fast.
Hosted annually by international non-profit the Climate Group in conjunction with the United Nations, and in partnership with the COP26 and the City of New York, it’s a global opportunity to come together to accelerate climate action and assess progress ahead of COP26.
This is our fourth year as the only official creative partner of Climate Week NYC. We first partnered with the Climate Group in 2018, joining to offer our unique expertise in of support the event.
