Raw London and Cannes Corporate 2022

We’re so pleased to announce that Raw London has won two Gold Dolphins and one Silver Dolphin across 3 categories at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2022, taking place virtually in October.

Our pro bono film for Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), Climate Giants, has won a Gold Dolphin in the Fundraising and Non-profit category, as well as a Silver Dolphin in the Environmental Issues and Sustainability award category. Meanwhile, our unique explainer film for the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), Find Your Answers, has won a Gold Dolphin in the Informational Films and Explanatory Videos category.

Climate Giants for Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC)

Climate Giants has won two awards in both shortlisted categories; Gold in Fundraising and Non-profit, and Silver in Environmental Issues and Sustainability.

The provocative campaign launched during COP26 in November 2021, and is based on new research around the environmental impact of whale conservation. You might also recognise the lead as Game of Thrones star and WDC patron, Jerome Flynn!

Find Your Answers for IHRA

Find Your Answers for the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) has been awarded Gold in the Informational Films and Explanatory Videos category.

The film promotes new guidelines for improving access to Holocaust-related archives and collections, an integral source of information for Holocaust education, research and remembrance. Through one fictional researcher’s story, the film travels through archives and documents to uncover a real person’s incredible, and previously lost, story.

The whole process for this film was so inspiring. It was incredible to work so closely with IHRA, and learn all about their mission to raise awareness and remembrance around such an important part of our history. We were blown away by Malva’s story – it was an honour to tell her story of female resistance during this time.

Jury and awards ceremony at Palm Beach Cannes

Our films have been judged by an international jury of Oscar and Emmy winners, corporate media specialists and film experts, as well as marketing and comms professionals. For example, Emily Clements, Head of Film at Radley Yeldar, and Rita-Maria Spielvogel, Creative Director & Member of the Board at BBDO Wien.

In fact, the expert jury reviewed 800 submissions from over 40 countries. From this, only 197 productions were nominated as finalists, and only 129 entries were awarded a coveted Dolphin Trophy.

Palm Beach Cannes
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, we weren’t able to head to the prestigious Palm Beach Cannes this year! However, the team were honoured to be recognised by such a respected body for their work dedicated to both fundamental projects.
