The Loss Foundation’s #IWontGoQuiet campaign aims to change the way people engage with others who are grieving. Told in captivating 360 video, The Reality of Loss is an immersive story of life before and after loss.
The film uses an innovative split screen and unique sound design to simultaneously represent the before and after of someone’s life. On one side, a happy Sunday morning with a loved one. On the other, the loneliness, fear and anxiety of grief takes hold. As those feelings intensify, the Loss Foundation brings a welcome sense of community, support and normality.
We helped to debut the film at Stand Up for The Loss Foundation, a comedy night where your laughter benefits the charity. Attendees queued to experience the film and the charity were overwhelmed by the response. The Loss Foundation are planning to promote the film widely over the next year, have already been invited to present at a conference in Lisbon and even to write a book chapter about it.
